October 13, 2017: “What a beautiful day! I needed to clear my head from the previous day’s confusion, which continued to linger. So I went outside to journal, talk, and listen to God. It was so nice, I decided to take my students out, telling them to bring their sketchbooks. I copied my tree again, with the falling leaves. Sitting under the tree, visiting with the four girls who joined me there, was the best part of my day.”
